Verse: Isaiah 26:3 (TEV)
You Lord, give perfect peace to those who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you.”

Question: What would my family and friends say is the driving force of my life? What do I want it to be?

The above comes from the book The Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren

In the last little bit I’ve had extra time to be reflective. To study, to assess, to breathe. This has a lot to do with the fact that I needed surgery which then has lead to a time recovery. (Perhaps I’ll blog about that sometime too.)

Here is what was reinforced in me through this process of analyzing and reflecting:

My Driving Force is Love.

I want to be loving within my marriage, my family, community, region, and the world.

My Guidelines/ check points are:

Jesus’ life and teaching, and “the fruits of the spirit”
(Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control).

Wow- one can’t go wrong with that eh?!  Or can one?…

I am thankful.
